To provide a carbonated beverage with improved aftertaste and foreign taste peculiar to high sweetness sweetener and a manufacturing method thereof, and to provide a quality of taste modifier of a stevia-based carbonated beverage.SOLUTION: A carbonated beverage contains digestion-resistant glucan and stevia. In the manufacturing method of the carbonated beverage blended digestion-resistant glucan and stevia as raw materials, the digestion-resistant glucan is blended to consist of 0.1-10 mass% per the beverage, and the stevia is blended to consist of 0.0005-0.107 mass% per the beverage.
