1. A method of inhibiting the proliferation of tumor cells, comprising contacting the tumor cells with cells of placental perfusate of a person. The method of claim 1, wherein the tumor cells are blood cancer cells. The method of claim 1, wherein the tumor cells are solid tumor cells. The method of claim 1, wherein the tumor cells are primary carcinoma cells from ductal epithelium, leukemia cells, acute T-cell leukemia cells, chronic myeloid lymphoma (CML) cells, acute myelogenous leukemia cells, chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) cells, pulmonary cells carcinomas, colon adenocarcinoma cells, histiocytic lymphoma cells, colorectal carcinoma cells, colorectal adenocarcinoma cells or retinoblastoma cells. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein said placental perfusion solution is perfusion solution that is passed only through the vasculature of the placenta. The method according to claim 1, wherein said placental perfusate is passed through the vasculature of the placenta and collected from the maternal surface of the placenta.
