An actuator control apparatus includes: a drive circuit 23； a constant current circuit 26； a drive power supply Vdrv； a resistance sense power supply Vdet configured to supply a power supply voltage in a predetermined period in a current application period so that a sense current equal to a drive current flows in an actuator 13； a sense resistance RL； a change-over switch 22 configured to connect the resistance sense power supply Vdet to the drive circuit 23 in the predetermined period and connect the drive power supply Vdrv to the drive circuit 23 other than the predetermined period； a change-over switch 25 configured to connect the sense resistance RL to the drive circuit 23 in the predetermined period and connect the constant current circuit 26 to the drive circuit 23 other than the predetermined period； and an FPGA 28 configured to detect an abnormality of the actuator 13 in the predetermined period.
