PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a whole straw binding device and to keep an installation space for a required apparatus in the straw binding device while avoiding interference with foreign materials at an unreaped side of the straw binding device.SOLUTION: A stalk end aligning plate 52 is placed under an input shaft 21 at a position near an end side based on a binding position, a lower transmission shaft is placed near the other end side of the straw binding device 5 based on the binding position at a lower position opposite to the input shaft 21 by interposing a bundling space S1, an output part 21c for a normal driving system is attached to the input shaft 21, the driving force transmitted to the lower transmission shaft is branched to a first transmission shaft of the normal driving system and a second transmission shaft 24 of an intermittent driving system connected through a one-turn clutch mechanism, a packer 51 is driven in response to motion of the first transmission shaft, a string feeding device 55 and a string knotting device 54 are driven in response to the motion of the second transmission shaft, and a vacant space S2 for installing a required apparatus is formed opposite to the lower transmission shaft under the stalk end aligning plate 52 at the other side of the binding position.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】排ワラ結束装置全体の構造の簡素化と、その排ワラ結束装置の未刈側での他物との干渉を回避しながら、排ワラ結束装置内に所要機器の配設用スペースを確保する。【解決手段】入力軸21の下側で結束位置よりも一端側寄りの箇所に株端揃え板52を配設し、結束位置よりも排ワラ結束装置5の他端側寄りで、集束空間S1を挟んで入力軸21と対向する下側位置に下部伝動軸を配設し、入力軸21に常時駆動系の出力部21cを設け、下部伝動軸に伝達された駆動力を、常時駆動系の第1伝動軸と、一回転クラッチ機構を介して接続される間欠駆動系の第2伝動軸24とに分岐伝動し、第1伝動軸に連動させてパッカー51を駆動し、第2伝動軸に連動させて紐供給装置55及び紐結節装置54を駆動し、下部伝動軸とは反対側には、株端揃え板52よりも下方側で結束位置の他端側に所要機器配設用の空きスペースS2を形成してある。【選択図】図4
