PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bond a nonwoven fabric to another member at high bonding strength, while substantially retaining the nonwoven fabric, the bulk of which is recovered, in a highly bulky state.SOLUTION: An apparatus is provided for manufacturing a sheet-like member by bonding a nonwoven fabric to another member related to an absorbent article. The apparatus includes: a bulk recovery device that, while conveying the nonwoven fabric continued in the conveyance direction along the conveyance direction, sprays hot air to the nonwoven fabric to heat the nonwoven fabric and recover the bulk of the nonwoven fabric and a bonding device that bonds the nonwoven fabric, the bulk of which is recovered by the hot air, to the other member by adhesive in a high temperature state higher than the temperature before being heated by the hot air.
