To provide: a chemical polymerization initiator divided into two or more partial initiator compositions and blended, which is used in chemical polymerization in a system in which an acid component is present, and in which components constituting the chemical polymerization initiator are maintained in a state in which chemical contact of the components with each other cannot occur before use, wherein the chemical polymerization initiator has high storage stability and high polymerization activity； an adhesive composition in which the chemical polymerization initiator is used； an adhesive composition kit； a dental material and a dental material kit； and a method for storing the adhesive composition. The present invention is: a chemical polymerization initiator including (a) a thiourea compound, (b) a peroxy ester, (c) a divalent copper compound, and (d) an aryl borate compound； an adhesive composition in which the chemical polymerization initiator is used； an adhesive composition kit； a dental material and a dental material kit； and a method for storing the adhesive composition.
