#$%^&*AU2014202247B220160114.pdf#####Abstract An ostomy appliance comprises an ostomy pouch having an interior space in communication with a stomal aperture and a closable opening. An adhesive body fitment is attached to the ostomy pouch along a region of permanent attachment that extends entirely around the stoma aperture. The body fitment has an adhesive bodyfacing surface and a non-body-facing surface and includes adhesive having a moldable region integral with a constrained region that has a more constrained shape than in the moldable region. When open, the closable opening provides access to and direct contact with the non-body-facing side of the adhesive, through the pouch interior, to facilitate direct molding of the adhesive moldable region from the nonbody-facing surface of the adhesive. The pouch has a front wall, and a rear wall with a stomal aperture. The closable opening comprises an access aperture in the front wall which at least partly overlaps the stomal aperture. A flatus vent and deodorising filter are also provided.
