PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deployable tissue dissector including a shaft having an expandable distal end.SOLUTION: The tissue dissector includes an introducer 8 which includes a lumen extending along a length thereof and defines a longitudinal axis therethrough. The introducer 8 is configured to be placed adjacent to a target tissue. A shaft 10 operably coupled to the introducer 8 is deployable from a distal end thereof, and includes a proximal end for approximating the distal end 18 of the shaft 10 adjacent to the target tissue.
