CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting bone formation contains ginsenoside Rd as active ingredient. The bone disease is osteoporosis, osteonosus fracture due to the osteoporosis, diabetic bone fracture, non-union fracture, bone defect, osteogenesis imperfecta, malacosteon or fractures due to the same, osteogenesis failure, chronic osteoporosis or malocclusion. The composition includes 40-80 wt% of the ginsenoside Rd based on the total weight of the composition. The composition for promoting bone formation includes the ginsenoside Rd as the active ingredient.
