The present invention generally relates to a method for preparing induced mesenchymal stem cells (iMSCs) and its applications. The iMSCs, like MSCs, can differentiate into multiple lineages, which may be beneficial for disease treatments. In addition, the present invention also provides a method for improving the MSC's functional characteristics such that the MSCs are more suitable for cell therapy orin vitroapplications.本發明一般係關於一種製備誘導型間質幹細胞(induced mesenchymal stem cells, iMSCs)的方法及其應用。誘導型間質幹細胞(iMSCs) 與間質幹細胞(MSCs)相似，可分化成多種譜系，這對於疾病的治療可能是有益的。此外，本發明還提供一種增進間質幹細胞(MSCs)的功能特徵之方法，使得該間質幹細胞(MSCs)更適合於細胞治療或體外應用。
