An ocular fixation device (1200) is disclosed. Said device comprises a body (1202-1204) sized and shaped to lie on an eye as well as multiple twist picks (1206) provided along the body and configured to be rotated to attach the body to the eye and to release the body from the eye, wherein the body comprises connection points (1208) on which a surgical tool (450,522,616) for forming incisions in the eye is mountable on the body. A corresponding system comprises a surgical tool configured to form incisions in an eye, and such an ocular fixation device.
