PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refined material of a post-fermented tea leaf extract with enhanced LOX-1 inhibitory activity, specifically a refined composition of post-fermented tea with reduced unpleasant odor derived from the post-fermented tea leaf and having very good flavor, and to provide a method for producing the same, and food and drink containing the refined composition of post-fermented tea.SOLUTION: Provided is a refined composition of post-fermented tea with enhanced LOX-1 inhibitory activity. A concentration of teabrownin in an aqueous solution, in which a concentration of a solid content of the refined material is 1% (w/v), is shown to be 1.3 or more in terms of absorbance at 380 nm. Also, in an aqueous solution having a concentration of a solid content of the refined material of 0.1% (w/v), a concentration of 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene is 20 ng/mL or less, or a concentration of 1,2-dimethoxybenzene is 1 ng/mL or less.
