PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage generator in which ineffective exposure of a subject can be prevented while saving the space.SOLUTION: The X-ray high voltage generator comprises a circuit which generates a tube voltage to be supplied to an X-ray tube, a wave tail interruption circuit which discharges the charges in the circuit when the tube voltage is lowered, a housing which houses the tube voltage generation circuit and the discharge circuit, and an electrical insulation oil filling a container. A flexible container having an internal space communicating with the space in the housing is connected to one surface of the housing, and a heat radiation unit is mounted on the flexible container.
