Whether or not a request for starting awakening support is input within predetermined time from the inquiry is determined (S1240). When determining that request for the START of awakening support is input (YES in S1240), the awakening support is started (S1270). Then and whether the fright reaction appears or not is determined (S1275). When determining the appearance of the fright reaction (YES in S1275), stimulus intensity is reduced only by one level (S1280). Then, when the awakening support effect does not appear and the stimulus intensity is increased.
