PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of improving image quality of an ultrasonic image using other modality images: and to provide an image processing apparatus and a program.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasonic probe, transmitting/receiving means, generation means, acquisition means, extraction means, specification means and filter processing means. The transmitting/receiving means transmits/receives ultrasonic waves to/from a subject via the ultrasonic probe and generates echo signals related to a scan surface. The generation means generates an ultrasonic image on the basis of the echo signal. The acquisition means acquires other modality images corresponding to the scan surface and obtained by other modalities. The extraction means extracts edges from other modality images. The specification means specifies an edge region of the ultrasonic image on the basis of a region where the edges of other modality images are extracted.
