PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice-ball packaging material that prevents a rice ball, whose package film is opened, from becoming unsanitary while preventing hands from becoming gooey with moisture or seasonings of a rice ball.SOLUTION: The rice-ball packaging material is configured as follows. Sheet-like food 4 to be wrapped around a rice ball is stored in a storage part 3 between an outer film 1 and an inner film 2. If the outer film 1 is torn in a state of packaging the rice ball and pulled so as to separate each of the right and left parts from each other, the inner film 2 is separated to each of the right and left pieces 2a, 2b and the packaging material is opened in a state that the sheet-like food 4 is deposited on the rice ball.
