The invention relates to a vacuum regulator of a milking unit, comprising a body with side openings for pumping air and a crossbar, valve gears with a valve, connected with a rod, allowed to carry out reciprocal movement as regards to a seat, by one end and a gear for controlling movement of the valve. Said gear for controlling movement of the valve is made as an outer sylphon and an internal one with working surfaces and side ones, mounted onto the crossbar of the body by bases thereof. A rod is fixed to the working surface of the internal sylphon, and to the working surface of the outer sylphon a gear of forced change in the volume of working chamber thereof, in such a manner as to allow interacting with the body, is fixed. In addition, the outer sylphon is made in such a manner as to allow creating the rarefying in working chamber thereof, and the internal sylphon is made with a working chamber, constantly connected with atmosphere. In doing so in the space between the internal sylphon and the seat of the valve a magnetic damping mechanism.
