PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle operated to deliver a physiologically active agent to the airway of a patient.SOLUTION: This microparticle can be used in dry powder form or in stable dispersion form having a nonaqueous continuous phase. In an especially desirable example, this microparticle can be used by means of such an inhalator as a dry powder inhaler, fixed dose inhaler, or sprayer. This invention provides also the use of a physiologically active agent in the manufacture of a medicine for pulmonary delivery.
