In one implementation, for example, a treatment device comprises an antenna comprising a pair of electrodes configured for electrical coupling with an environment comprising biological targets for delivering a first electromagnetic signal to the environment, wherein the first electromagnetic signal is configured to generate ions within the environment for interacting with the biological targets.
