The present invention relates to a nanocomposition comprising a hydrophilic nanostructuring matrix comprising a natural polysaccharide or proteinaceous network of an extract of plant mucilaginous or animal origin, said network being densified by incorporation therein of at least one additional polysaccharide； and, potentially, a cosmetic or pharmaceutical active nanostructured by and in said matrix. The present invention also relates to a dehydrated cosmetic product comprising a nanocomposition according to the invention, in which the cosmetic active agent is preferably in the form of submicron particles. It finds applications in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic field, for example in cosmetic formulations, for example for hair applications.
