PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable hood which discourages hurting on an outer surface of other fishing rods, relating to a reel seat which has a movable hood where a knurl is formed.SOLUTION: A reel seat includes a reel seat body which has a fixed hood capable of receiving one end of a reel leg, and a movable hood which has a configuration to slide along axial direction of a rod body, capable of receiving the other end of the reel leg. The movable hood has a first large diameter part 41, a second large diameter part 42, and a small diameter part 44 having an outside diameter which is smaller than the first large diameter part 41 and the second large diameter part 42. On an outside surface of the small diameter part 44, a knurl 45 is provided.
