PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tilling device that can prevent mud from adhering to a hinge portion between a top cover and a rear cover without causing a large weight increase and cost increase.SOLUTION: A rotary tilling device includes a top cover for covering an upper part of a rotary tilling unit and a rear cover for covering a rear part of the rotary tilling unit. The upper end side of the rear cover is pivotally connected to the rear end side of the top cover through a horizontal pivot in a turnable manner. An elastic cover provided along a tilling unit side inner surface of the pivot is disposed between the pivot and the rotary tilling unit. This elastic cover is provided from the rear end side of the top cover over the upper end side of the rear cover.
