The invention concerns antibodies directed against CD127, I.e.the alpha chain of the receptor for interleukin7 (IL-7), especially the receptor for human IL-7 expressed on human cells (designated human IL-7Ralpha or IL-7Ra)or the TSLP receptor. The antibodies of the invention have cytotoxic activity against CD127 positive cells. The invention also relates to the use of these antibodies in order to deplete subpopulations of T lymphocytes as a result of cytotoxic action of the antibodies, through ADCC and optionally through CDC. Accordingly the invention concerns the use of the antibodies in the treatment of transplant rejection, autoimmune diseases, allergic diseases, lymphoma or cancer when these pathologies are associated with CD127 positive cells.L'invention concerne des anticorps dirigés contre CD127, c'est-à-dire la chaîna alpha du récepteur de l'interleukine-7 (IL-7), en particulier le récepteur de l'IL-7 humaine exprimée sur des cellules humaines (appelées IL-7Ralpha ou IL-7Ra humaine) ou le récepteur TSLP. Les anticorps de l'invention présentent une activité cytotoxique contre les cellules CD127 positives. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces anticorps pour appauvrir les sous-populations de lymphocytes T en tant que résultat de l'action cytotoxique des anticorps par l'intermédiaire d'ADCC et éventuellement de CDC. En conséquence, l'invention concerne l'utilisation des anticorps pour traiter le rejet de transplantation, les maladies auto-immunes, les maladies allergiques, le lymphome ou le cancer lorsque ces pathologies sont associées aux cellules positives CD127.
