PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a veterinary cage which allows for dimensional change or partial partitioning of an internal space in accordance with the type and size of an animal and to provide a veterinary cage which prevents a movable component provided in the internal space of the cage from being moved except in the case of need.SOLUTION: A veterinary cage, when an inter-lower stage partition plate 20 or an inter-upper stage partition plate 30 is pulled out from a casing, allows a lower-stage left cage 12 and a lower-stage right cage 13 or an upper-stage left cage 14 and an upper-stage right cage 15 positioned on the right and left sides of the partition plate to be integrally used, thus facilitating accommodation of a comparatively large animal. Furthermore, when a passage opening 21a is opened by pulling out an opening and closing plate 27 while the internal space is partitioned by the partition plate 20, the veterinary cage allows the two spaces to be accessed through the passage opening 21a, thereby providing a comfortable space for an animal favoring free access between two spaces, such as a cat.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 動物の種類や大きさに応じて内部空間の大きさを変更したり、部分的に仕切ったりすることが可能な獣医科用ケージを提供すること、及び、ケージの内部空間に設けた可動な構成部材が必要な場合を除いて動かないようにできる獣医科用ケージを提供すること。【解決手段】 下段間仕切り板20を筐体から抜き取って、これらの間仕切り板の左右両側にある下段左側ケージ12と下段右側ケージ13、又は、上段左側ケージ14と上段右側ケージ15を一体に使用できるので、比較的大きい動物の収容が容易になる。また、下段間仕切り板20によって内部空間を区画したまま、開閉板27を引き抜いて通行用開口部21aを開放すれば、2つの空間が通行用開口部21aを介して往来可能となるので、ネコなどのように2つの空間の間を自由に往来することを好む動物に対して快適な空間を提供できる。【選択図】 図12
