What is presented and described is a fastener, preferably for an orthosis, having a belt arrangement, comprising a first fastener part (1) and a second fastener part (21), which can be detachably connected to one another, wherein the first and the second fastener part (1, 21) comprise connection devices for belts of the belt arrangement, wherein the first fastener part (1) comprises a pin (3), wherein the second fastener part (21) has a connection end (23) and a coupling end (25), and a guide track (37) extending in a fastener plane is provided between the connection end (23) and the coupling end (25), said guide track extending from an entrance opening (41) to a guide track end (43), wherein the pin (3) comprises a first section (7) and a second section (9), wherein the dimension of the first section (7) perpendicular to the direction of extent of the pin (3) corresponds to the dimension of the guide track (37) in the fastener plane at the guide track end (43) and wherein the dimensions of the second section (9) perpendicular to the direction of extent of the pin (3) are greater than the dimension of the guide track (37) at the guide track end (43) such that the second section (9) restricts a movement of the pin (3) relative to the second fastener part (21) in a direction perpendicular to the fastener plane.
