The present invention relates to a preprocessing apparatus to remove contaminants in a heat pump type heat exchanger using waste water heat source and, more specifically, to a preprocessing apparatus to remove contaminants in a heat pump type heat exchanger using waste water heat source which filters the contaminants contained in the drained water supplied to the heat exchanger to prevent the formation of the contaminants in the heat pump type heat exchanger using waste water heat included in the waste water discharged from farms, saunas, and industries. In the heat pump type heat exchanger using the waste water heat source to recycle heat included in the waste water discharged from a water tank in the fish farm; an automatic device to remove contaminants using a washing ball is installed between the water tank and a plate type heat exchanger, and a filter to drain water is connected and installed between the water tank and the automatic device to remove the contaminants.
