Planting apparatus comprising enclosed upright sides and open horizontal sides. The upright sides are angled relative to vertical causing one of the horizontal open sides to be larger than the other. Multiple apparatus may be stacked in various arrangements providing multiple apertures in which plants can be planted. A base plate can be used to provide a solid base or dividing tier. The apparatus can be attached to walls or hung. Light emitting products can be housed in apertures in the upright walls of the device. The base plate may be sealed to provide a water feature.
