The purpose of the invention is to provide a blood purifying column wherein the risk of clogging of the blood flow tube is limited even when the blood volume is reduced to 10 mL or less and wherein the winding of the adsorbent carrier by hand is possible. The invention provides a blood purifying column equipped with a cylinder a first header having a first blood flow channel a second header having a second blood flow channel an adsorbent carrier a first end plate a second end plate and a blood flow tube provided with openings wherein: one end of the blood flow tube is connected to the first blood flow channel the other end is blocked the first end plate is fitted so that the outer circumferential surface fits tightly to the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder a gap is provided between the outer circumferential surface of the second end plate and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder the ratio of the outer diameter (D1) of a cross section of the blood flow tube the cross section being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction with respect to the internal diameter (D2) of a cross section of the cylinder the cross section being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is 0.35 0.50 and the blood volume is 6 10 mL.
