Non-tack chewing gum comprising chewing gum ingredients is disclosed. Said chewing gum comprises at least one elastomer and at least one resin, said at least one resin comprising at least one synthetic homopolymer resin, said synthetic homopolymer being biodegradable, the amount of said synthetic homopolymer of said chewing gum being from ½% to 60% by weight of said chewing gum, wherein said at least one homopolymer has a polydispersity of 1.1 to 20.
