The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a citrus fruit extract containing high content of nobiletin or tangeretin and, more specifically, to a manufacturing method of a citrus fruit extract containing higher content of nobiletin or tangeretin than conventional methods thereof by extracting a collected substance with an aqueous alcohol solution after washing citrus fruits with a basic solution, and to uses thereof. According to the present invention, effects in extracting a citrus fruit extract containing high content of nobiletin or tangeretin and reducing costs at the same time are provided through a simple method. Provided are a composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing a citrus fruits extract with high nobiletin or tangeretin content as an active ingredient, which has a high commercial value, and having effects in enhancing memory, preventing dementia, providing anticancer activity, anti-inflammatory activity and antiobesity activity, and alleviating atopy, pruritus, metabolism disorder, periodontitis, bone metabolism disorder comprising osteoporosis, and a fatty liver.본 발명은 노빌레틴 또는 탄제레틴 함량이 높은 감귤류 추출물의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 먼저 감귤류의 과실을 염기성용액으로 세척한 후 회수물을 알콜 수용액으로 추출하여 기존 방법보다 노빌레틴 또는 탄제레틴 함량이 높은 추출물을 제조하는 방법과 그 용도에 관한 것이다.상기와 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 간단한 방법으로 노빌레틴 또는 탄제레틴 함량이 높은 감귤류 추출물을 추출함과 동시에 비용을 절감하는 효과가 있다. 노빌레틴 또는 탄제레틴 함량이 높은 감귤류 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 높은 상품성의 기억력 증진, 치매 예방, 항암, 항염증, 아토피 개선, 가려움증 개선, 항비만, 지질대사 질병 개선, 치주염 개선, 골다공증을 포함한 골대사성 질환 개선 및 지방간 개선 효과가 있는 조성물 및 약학 조성물을 제공한다.
