PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating a plant, the method allowing infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, slime molds and microorganisms to be prevented without using agricultural chemical poisons allowing vegetables and fruits to be hardly rotten after harvesting allowing the expiration date and the expiration date to be extended by keeping freshness and allowing plants to hardly cause food poisoning even being eaten.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, antimicrobial metal ion 3 in mineral water in which silver ion, zinc ion, and copper ion are eluted is provided as a plant cultivation ion water to allow a vegetable liquid, such as sap, vegetable liquid, herbaceous liquid, etc., to contain the antimicrobial metal ion 3 and plant tissues (plant cells, etc.) to obtain an antibacterial plant 7 (ion plant body) having bacteriocidal and sterile properties.
