PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial tooth root and an artificial tooth root unit capable of sufficiently securing strength of a member for fixing a keeper to a fixture and reducing time and labor of handling.SOLUTION: The artificial tooth root 1 includes a fixture 8 fixed to a jawbone 202, a sleeve 9 fixed to the fixture 8, and a keeper 10 fixed to the sleeve 9 to be magnetically coupled with a magnet 5 of a denture 2. The fixture 8 and the sleeve 9 are formed using a biocompatible material. The sleeve 9 is integrally provided with an abutment part 13 and a first coupling part 19. The keeper 10 is formed using a magnetic material and has a second coupling part 22.
