A device for shaping greenery comprises a mobile chassis and, mounted thereon, a mechanical arm with an adapter for working tools, a positioning module and a control module. The device additionally comprises a positionable adapter for the mechanical arm and a storage module for working tools. The positionable adapter for the mechanical arm is provided with a mechanism for moving the base of the mechanical arm in a horizontal and a vertical plane in response to commands from the control module and is designed to enable the electromechanical connection of the mechanical arm to the mobile chassis and the transmission of control actions for the functioning of the mechanical arm. A shaping method is carried out using the above device. The invention provides for the shaping of plants of a large range of sizes and shapes and having different structures in terms of green and woody matter.Le dispositif pour la mise en forme de plantations vertes comprend un châssis mobile sur lequel est monté un manipulateur muni dun adaptateur doutils de travail, un module de positionnement et un module de commande.
