PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement detection device capable of relatively accurately detecting the movement of a body.SOLUTION: The movement detection device comprises: an elastic base material attached so as to fit a curved surface； and a strain sensor stacked on the elastic base material and detecting expansion and contraction of the elastic base material. The elastic base material includes a hard part, and a soft part more elastic than the hard part, and the strain sensor is arranged on a position overlapping with the soft part. The soft part may be arranged so as to absorb a change in length of the elastic base material along the curved surface. The strain sensor may adhere to the soft part, and the soft part and the hard part may be continuously arranged along the curved surface. At least one end of the strain sensor may protrude from the soft part.
