The present invention relates to a composition comprising (a) vandamutein, (b) a charged cyclic polysaccharide, and (c) a stabilizer having an opposite charge to the cyclic polysaccharide. The compositions have unexpected desirable anticancer activities and provide unexpected desirable stability in reactive environments such as plasma.
