The present invention relates to a method for detoxifying sulfur comprising: a step for forming a molten mixed phase by heating sulfur at 250-300°；C for 1-2 hours； a step for sintering the sulfur by cooling the molten mixed phase； a step for drying the sintered sulfur； a step for keeping the dried sulfur in an airtight ceramic container and then covering the ceramic container with soil and heating； a step for aging the heated ceramic container by burying in the red clay for 5-9 days； and a step for taking the sulfur solidified in the ceramic container off and grinding.
