An ultrasonic surgical blade includes a body having an external surface, at least one cutting edge, and a distal end. In at least one embodiment, the cutting edge can be defined by first and second surfaces which define an angle therebetween. In various embodiments, at least a portion of the cutting edge comprises a sharp point.
