PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly capable of reducing stimulation to a skin due to contact of a catheter hub to a skin.SOLUTION: A catheter assembly 10A comprises: a catheter 12； a catheter hub 14 provided on a base end of the catheter 12； an inner needle 18 inserted into the catheter 12 and the catheter hub 14 so as to be freely removed； a side port 16 having a channel 16a which is communicated to an inner space 15 of the catheter hub 14； and a seal part 24 which is arranged in the inner space 15 and into which the inner needle 18 is inserted in the initial state, and which becomes in a seal possible state following to removal of the inner needle 18.
