The cutter (1) has a main frame (7) including frame parts (10) extending on both sides of cutter in longitudinal direction. One of lining elements (13) extends from a rear region of the cutter to a region adjacent to an operator's cab (4). The lining elements is guided at a work area-like trained support part that is connected with the main frame such that the lining element is more pivotable about horizontally extending pivot axis provided at upper edge and vertically extending pivotal axis provided at an end of a horizontal leg.
