PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for culturing Hericcum erinaceus, especially the H. erinaceus having a coral shape. SOLUTION: This method for culturing the fruit body of the H. erinaceus is provided by covering >=1 culturing vessels with a sheet state covering material to make the culturing space as air tight to obtain the coral state H. erinaceus each one of which fruit bodies are finely branched. Thus, it is possible to harvest the coral state H. erinaceus which is preferably used as a food material such as a raw, boiled or fried food, in a high yield among the various shapes of the H. erinaceus valued highly as a health food.
