An apparatus for selective skin treatment on one or more body parts comprises a portable body adjusted to receive one or more body parts, having a cover, a side panel which is folded inside the body, when the apparatus in closed, and engaged with the cover so the cover is directed up wards at an angle to place a hand or a foot inside the body. A protection screen rests against a front edge of the side panel so that to reduce the ultraviolet leakage when the apparatus is open, and is folded and kept inside the body. The protection screen has openings to place the hands or feet inside the body when the apparatus is open. An ultraviolet emitter is integrated in the body and provided for skin treatment on one or more body parts.
