PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper which can stably float an upper layer absorber on the upper surface side of a lower layer absorber.SOLUTION: A floating elastic member 54 is arranged under a central absorber 45 being a part of the upper layer absorber 43. Therefore, the central absorber 45 can be stably floated toward the upper surface of the lower layer absorber 30 by the shrink force of the floating elastic member 54. A part of urine discharged from a wearer is absorbed by and held to the central absorber 45. Further, the other part of urine discharged from the wearer arrives at the lower layer absorber 30 through a buffer space 80 to be absorbed by and held to the lower layer absorber 30. The lateral leak of urine from the buffer space 80 is suppressed by a pair of side edge sheets 50.
