The present invention relates to a composition containing a pueraria lobata leaf extract as an active ingredient. Since it has been found that the pueraria lobata leaf extract, which is a natural extract, of the present invention inhibits expression of acetyl-CoA-carboxylase (ACC) gene, which plays an important role in lipid synthesis during a differentiation process of adipose precursor cells, and reduces the activity of glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GPDH), which is involved in lipid differentiation and lipid synthesis, thereby inhibiting lipid accumulation.
