A bubble trap and a medical fluid bubble trap system for use in a medical fluid line are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the bubble trap is configured to trap gas (eg, air) that flows from the fluid line into the bubble trap. In some embodiments, the bubble trap includes an inlet portion and an outlet portion, and a chamber between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. For example, in some embodiments, the bubble trap is configured to prevent gas from flowing into the outlet when gas flows into the chamber from the inlet.
