ACUTE CARDIAC FAILURE MODEL, METHOD FOR EVALUATING ACUTE CARDIAC FAILURE THERAPEUTIC MEDICINE USING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR MAKING ACUTE CARDIAC FAILURE MODEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acute cardiac failure model of small animals, usable for evaluating a novel therapeutic medicine of acute cardiac failure, to provide a method for evaluating an acute cardiac failure therapeutic medicine, using the same, and to provide a method for making the acute cardiac failure model.SOLUTION: An acute cardiac failure model is made by administering an infusion solution, an adrenaline &alpha；1-receptor stimulant, and angiotensin II to a small animal such as a rabbit. Acute cardiac failure accompanied with pulmonary edema is caused in the small animal by raising a blood pressure by the adrenaline &alpha；1-receptor stimulant and angiotensin II while increasing a body fluid volume by the infusion solution, and adding a preload and an afterload adjusted in an adequate balance.【課題】急性心不全の新規治療薬の評価に利用可能な小動物の急性心不全モデル、これを用いた急性心不全治療薬の評価方法、及び、急性心不全モデルの作製方法を提供する。【解決手段】ウサギなどの小動物に対し、輸液と、アドレナリンα１受容体刺激薬と、アンジオテンシンＩＩとを投与することにより急性心不全モデルを作製する。輸液により体液量を増加させつつ、アドレナリンα１受容体刺激薬及びアンジオテンシンＩＩにより血圧を上昇させて、前負荷と後負荷を適度なバランスに調節して加え、小動物に肺水腫を伴う急性心不全を発症させる。【選択図】図１
