PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive or therapeutic agent of retinochoroidal degeneration disorders, for example, atrophic age-related macular degeneration, pigmentary retinal dystrophy, gyrate atrophy of choroid and retina, as well as retinochoroidal disorders resulting from the diseases.SOLUTION: This compound represented by general formula (1) or its salt has an inhibitory effect for optical receptor cell death and/or visual cell death in a mouse optical disorder model.
