PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding rice planting machine in which a longitudinal length of a step U in an upper stage is elongated to facilitate the seedling supply work to a seedling loading platform 57, and mud and muddy water are prevented from entering a fuel supply port of a fuel tank 43 disposed between a step D in a lower stage and the step U in the upper stage.SOLUTION: A side step 27 includes a step D in a lower stage becoming a tread substantially flush with a rear step 23 and a step U in an upper stage with a front side protruded in the rear side of the step D in the lower stage and being higher than a tread of the step D in the lower stage.
