PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which subjects a captured image obtained by an endoscopic system to image processing for facilitating visual grasping of a desired site, and to provide an endoscopic system.

SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a processor-side CPU 202 which undergoes designation of a wavelength and a shape a spectral estimation part 207 which performs spectrum analysis of a color captured image and obtains the component image (spectral image) of a spectrum component corresponding to the wavelength designated by the processor-side CPU 202 from the captured image a specifying processing part 208 which specifies an image area satisfying a condition of coinciding a shape designated by the processor-side CPU 202 in the obtained spectral image and a second image processing part 206 which subjects the color captured image to image processing of emphasizing an image area equivalent to the image area specified by the specifying processing part 208.
