PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition which can be used by mixing with a hair cosmetic composition such as a hair dyeing agent containing an alkali agent and an oxidizing agent and impart an excellent effect of enhancing hair elasticity.SOLUTION: There is provided a hair cosmetic composition which is used by mixing with a hair cosmetic composition constituted as a hair-dyeing agent or a hair bleaching, destaining agent containing an alkali agent and an oxidizing agent, wherein 0.5 mass% or more of an acid (A) is contained in the hair cosmetic composition.
