<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly extend the warming time of a portable hand warmer while preventing deterioration of a battery by improving the temperature environment of the battery, and to miniaturize and reduce the weight of a portable hand warmer to be conveniently carried by uniquely disposing a radiation plate, the battery and a heater. <;P>;SOLUTION: The portable hand warmer is provided with the chargeable battery 1, a case 2 which houses the battery 1 and which has the radiation plate 4 exposed to the outside, and the heater 3 thermally connected and housed in the radiation plate 4 of the case 2 to be electrified and heated by the battery 1. The radiation plate 4 has a first surface 4A located on the outer side of the case 2 and a second surface 4B located on the inner side of the case 2. The heater 3 is disposed on a part of the second surface 4B in the thermally connected state, and the battery 1 is disposed on the other part of the second surface 4B in the thermally connected state to face the heater 3. In the portable hand warmer, the battery 1 is warmed with the heat of the heater 3 via the radiation plate 4, and the radiation plate 4 is warmed with the exothermic heat of the charged battery 1. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
